Voluntary — Pro Bono Roll Call — voluntary online reporting via OSB member portal. Pro Bono Honor Roll recognizes attorneys with 40+ direct legal service hours.

Alternative

Remaining hours (40-60 of the 80-hour goal) may be other community volunteer service.

CLE Credit for Pro Bono

1 credit per 2 hours (max 6 credits per cycle)

CLE Notes

6 credits per full 3-year reporting period (3 credits in short reporting period). Must be through an OSB Certified Pro Bono Program. Per MCLE Regulation 5.300.

Eligible Case Types

Direct provision of legal services to the poor without expectation of compensation. 20-40 hours of the 80-hour goal should be direct legal services to persons of limited means.

Additional Notes

Oregon is the ONLY state with an aspirational goal above 50 hours (80 hours total).
